Russia imposes restrictions on live pig imports

Russia has banned imports of live pigs from six countries, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea and South Africa, due to fears about the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhoea virus (PEDv), according to the Russian veterinary watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor.
